On the topic of movies, I have to second you on Darby O'Gill. I spent many a childhood afternoon searching the forests for King Brian of Knocknasheega. :) Also, that coiste bodhar terrified the living daylights out of me. I love Splash and Blade Runner, too, but they weren't as formative.

When Andrew and I were in Paris, there were advertisements for it on every corner, and I've been intending, though frequently forgetting, to see it ever since. After all, a romantic comedy based on BDSM? How could it not be interesting?
