Iron in my spine's conducting lightning
After several weeks of crash-and-burn with Netflix, Viking Zen and I finally got the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender on DVD and have just finished watching the tenth episode. I love Uncle Iroh.
yhlee,
cucumberseed, you are very much to blame.

I love that while his backstory is still tantalizingly indeterminate, he really does not seem to be playing a role—he is a legendary general, a powerful firebender, and all sorts of more than meets the eye, and he is also serious about his tea, his board games, and time out for roast duck. Also, he's voiced by Mako. Dude.
(and you will know when you meet them--oh why oh why does English not have a gender-neutral/indeterminate pronoun?)
(Seriously. "One" does not work in all contexts.)
I shall keep an eye out!

Ten episodes in, I am willing to call it one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I am a fan of Babylon 5.

I already have a weird tea habit! I didn't need to be presented with more options!

How weird? ;-)
(I've got very boring lately--used to drink a lot of Lapsang Souchong, but now it's mostly standard issue gunpowder and jasmine.)

Mango. Blood orange. Lemongrass rosehip. What do you got?

...now I have to go listen to some.

A fairly pedestrian green tea and mint blend is what I'm drinking at the moment. Yours sound much cooler. ;-)
There was a green tea with blood orange blend we had at one time--soleil vert, I think it was called. Very nice, but it was in some sort of a gift basket thing and I've got no idea where to find more of it. Hmm, perhaps the internets will help.
Most interesting tea I've got at home is probably Söderblandning, which is blended in south Stockholm and consists of black tea with marigolds, lavender, and I-don't-know-what-else. I'd recc it, except that I'm thinking that you and caffeine are not good friends.
I should probably go looking for some more interesting tisanes, at some point.

Glad you approve! I found them via Universal Hall Pass, which I realize is backwards.
