And I think we're still going

As I signed out after voting, I was handed a sticker that read "My Vote Counted." I certainly hope so.

Well, you are in Massachusetts. As far as electoral probabilities are concerned, you and all of your neighbors voted for Senator Obama as soon as he was declared the nominee. Still, good for securing a mandate.

I'm in the same boat here in New York, of course. Good thing I agree with my state.

I know mine didn't, unless the race on Issue 6 here in Ohio is close (and I have a sinking feeling it won't be). My presidential candidate was a write-in, over 50% of the actual positions to be filled were uncontested (including coroner-- which I always thought was an appointed position?), and all the issues except issue 6 are pretty solidly bipartisan on which way people are going, so there's no real surprises coming there.

I do wish I'd been in one of the county districts voting on Issue 127 (millage for the Cuyahoga County Public Library-- we're the only city in CuyCo that doesn't use it, sigh)...

What was the deal with your Representatives? That might be important, if nothing else...

Well, we did it.

I feel... quietly hopeful.
