I didn't understand what this Pixel-day was. What is it?
paperskyinvented it last year: a day on which anyone who feels like it should put up professonal-quality work online, to be enjoyed by anyone who comes by. It grew out of a remark by an SFPA member that writers who so posted their work for free were "webscabs" and "pixel-stained technopeasant wretches," so it's about half communal reading holiday and half reminding protest. I approve of this sort of thing. And it gives me an excuse to share work I like!
