Ballads going wild, words have turned to water

Today has been drowned in snow. These are the good things: where words of mine have ended up.

"Carne Vale."

"Follow Me Home."

I am particularly, ridiculously honored by the first of these.

Congratulations!

We're drowned with snow out here as well.

Which is frustrating, as I'd hoped to go in to NYC today for a concert.

The [livejournal.com profile] erzebet art is stone bone leaf gorgeous. And I can't think of a more perfect pairing.

And "Follow Me Home"! I love that poem. Will you read it at ICFA?

Huzzah! Huzzah!! Huzzah!!!

{dances dizzily in snow, falls over}

That's cool! That's really cool!

That art is just lovely--really beautiful. And congratulations, as ever, on your literary honors as well.

Most welcome!

I had been hoping to see The Draughtsman's Contract at the Brattle Theatre, which did not happen either. I'm sorry.

Thank you. And I'm sorry for you as well; that film sounds very interesting.

How wonderful on both counts! Congrats.

Yikes!

Mine also rather sucked. I hope that turned around for you entirely with the good news.

"free snow, please take."

Both of those are awesome.

Oh, it's beautiful. I knew it would be. I'm so glad to see your words in her art.

And congratulations on the Year's Best! You have a lot of poems and stories out there that I haven't read yet. I need to catch up!

ah, thank you. As always, I'm amazed at your images--the trout, for example. This is horrible and sad and the kind of thing people should be reading to help them remember what war actually is. Thank you.
