Written by Montagu Slater, derived from a poem by George Crabbe, it is the beginning of the title character's principal aria from Britten's Peter Grimes.

I love that text.

But if the horoscope's
bewildering
like a flashing turmoil
of a shoal of herring,
who can turn skies back and begin again?

I hope it's connected; it would be very suitable.
