It's very odd. It's not that I *don't* dream--sometimes I recall a scrap of one, especially if it's terrible enough to have woken me in the middle.

but that happens.. once a year? While I'm sleeping, I might as well be dead.

Which is probably why I hate dream sequences in fiction so much.
