SO APPARENTLY one of the bio. professors at my college (after my time) had a ...hypothesis... that certain weird deposits of mosasaur fossils were, IN FACT, the product of some undiscovered giant mesozoic cephalopod first (1) eating them, and then (2) making macaroni art with their bones. So he is probably THRILLED about all this.
