As a reminder to myself of the value of random film trivia, I seem to have convinced a kid to seek out Here Comes Mr. Jordan (1941) after he complimented me on my name and deprecated his own which I told him was a lovely name, the name of a river, the name of a psychopomp, and he perked up and asked if the movie was available in this region and I could tell him there was even a Criterion disc, since off the top of my head I had no idea where it was streaming, although the answer turns out to be all over the place.
