selkie made, for my birthday observed, an Election Day Cake. My godchild and his boyfriend made the icing. It had cranberries instead of raisins and I ate two slices.
Otherwise I went for a walk in the late afternoon, read more Leo Rosten, watched more Tasmanian lesbians, did some book yelling with Selkie. In the process of re-finding John Foreman's The 'Ouses in Between (1966) because I had one of its music-hall songs stuck in my head, I found his obituary from August and feel I should tellashlyme to look out for his broadsheets and chapbooks in used book stores. The Internet Archive still appears to be down, which is something of a bummer because it's where I found the last three movies I wanted to write about. I am extremely confident that I look like some kind of deranged monk in this knee-length black hoodie which I have inherited for winter, but my godchild fell over laughing the second he pulled up my hood to complete the effect, so I am regarding it as a public service.
