I broke off therapy to yell a happy new year through my window, the yew tree in front of my window, and the tow truck in the street between me and the family who were clearly walking to services. It took several yells on account of the idling tow truck, but we finally made contact. I can only think they must have been heading to the Hillel at Tufts. We don't have a synagogue proper within walking distance unless you want to walk into Winter Hill.

It's a good thing Mac never longed to be a sea cat.
It came from my grandparents. I can't even remember how many years I've been blowing it for New Year's. We made a recording to send to my niece, who loves to hear it.
True--I think I've become used to people's general impulse to say the greeting as early as possible, and thus, having missed the evening of 2 Oct, I must be late. :)

Thank you for including me (really). Over the years I've learned to keep track of the repentance aspect, limitedly (almost solo) for myself and in conversation with a few near me who observe more fully; that amount feels fitting.
