The medicine show comes around

I have no idea who is setting up the tiny fair at the top of the hill, but I assume it has something to do with Patriots' Day. I was making an aimless circuit of the neighborhood when I caught sight of the Ferris wheel above the houses and headed over to investigate. None of the people moving among the handful of rides and games and stalls were close enough for me to shout over to them and ask. I walked around the perimeter in the bright kicking wind.
