There are shadows stretched long on the morning road

I think the time change has broken my already tenuous relationship with the concept of circadian rhythms: normally it's just tiring to lose an hour, but this year I have almost ceased to be able to fall or stay asleep and the results are predictable. I am disappointed in the third or fourth projected snowstorm this winter that arrived as rain and flurries melted by the next day. Have a couple of pictures from the neighborhood which I have been exploring.

It's the same line of the commuter rail; it runs under different bridges now.

One approaches the Mystic from different angles likewise.

I didn't realize the legendary Sav-Mor Liquors had a local satellite, but since I get depressed every time I drive past the dust-flattened demolition site on McGrath, I appreciate finding out.

I am having a lot of trouble with the state of just about everything. I recognize it is not a unique or soluble problem.

I have found the time change particularly brutal this go-round.

Wishing you more sleep and snow.

Every time I encounter a Sav-Mor it delights me. I used to pass the one by the Twin City Plaza on the regular, and now I'm almost never near one. So I'm delighted to see this outpost! And, of course, the all-important sign.
