I could feel it changing me
Nothing, what’s snew with you? Or, it finally snowed last night and stuck. Possibly we were supposed to get more of it, but as it phased last night through sleet and freezing rain and the ever-popular "wintry mix," I was worried enough about waking up to the empty drying streets of what passes lately for winter in Anthropocene Boston. I don't know that it will last, but at least it looks briefly like February. Around dawn between pain and weird dreams, I saw a rabbit in our back yard, leaving tracks over the snow.

"Wintry mix" is forecast for surprising parts of California, heh, and a whole blizzard warning for LA/OC/SD/Vent. Guess all those requests of the Northeast to share y'all's watery precip finally went through, only not perhaps in ideal form.

There's been hail in Los Angeles today (which happens occasionally), and I'm hoping for a freak snowfall in my neighborhood while this chilly weather lasts. Very unlikely, but I can dream.

The rabbit is excellent. I took a trail through the woods to get to the post office the day before yesterday and ran into a rabbit in the same location in both directions. Maybe/probably the same one, just happy with that particular spot. Maybe your rabbit will visit again.
