My poem "The Voice of the Cards" has been accepted by Not One of Us. It is the poem I wrote on my phone with Autolycus sleeping on me; it owes a significant debt to the opera from which it takes its title, Peter Maxwell Davies' The Lighthouse (1979).
August was rough. I am not yet sure that September is going to be less so. I have a book and I am beginning to hear that people are enjoying it, which is important.
