I love the book and the film, and this is a very beautiful and thought-provoking review. I especially appreciate your thoughts on the ending—that was one of the changes made from the book which I didn't like when I first watched the film, but this interpretation has given me a better understanding of what it's doing.

(Also, I'd failed to twig that Moon's name is a link between him and Piers, but of course it is—that whole thing makes so much sense.)
