Nightmares like that... in them I spend my time feverishly trying to find a way around or out of the constraints. It sounds like what was particularly awful was everyone's commitment to dying. Sometimes it's a relief to wake up, however awful the waking world is.

Bashing things until candy happens is wonderful! I feel like it might be fun to make household-item-shaped piñatas for everyday occasions when one needs that to happen.
