Hanging out in someone else's dream

It was snowing when spatch came home tonight; I saw the flakes falling as I opened the window and called out to him. He announced himself as Balto, bringing my medication through the snow. (We know it was Togo who did the longest and hardest stretch of the run.) There is a thin blanket lying on the cars and the sidewalk now, over the dead leaves; it finally looks something like winter in New England. The occasional flake is still falling. I don't want to lose these seasons.

While I now require an assist to walk in it, I do love snow in urban places before everything gets to it. And I miss the seasons we used to have; I don't like that winter starts here now in February.
