I didn't recognize his name at first when spatch read it out of the index, but as soon as he said that he had played Lucius for Welles, I knew who he was and the whole situation became a lot wilder. I know most people's books don't go into archives, but I never think about random famous people's books just ending up in stores I frequent. I have any number of books that used to be the property of people I never heard of.
All I ever get are birthday inscriptions I wish the person had kept, not parts of history.
I always hope in the case of something like that that it wasn't the person themselves who gave the book away, but their inheritors after the fact.
