Every linen wrapped so tight that it's probably forbidden
A handful of links from the day.
1. Kino Lorber is coming out with a special edition Blu-Ray/DVD of Allan Arkush's Get Crazy (1983) in December. I have no doubt I will enjoy the special features, but I am looking forward just to the restoration. I still hope someday to see this movie in its natural habitat of a big screen for New Year's.
2. Greil Marcus, "Tied to History." On personal memory, communal memory, and secret history in the family. It was published in 2008. I found it looking for information on Halsey's Typhoon.
3. I don't know what the fish are doing on this waistcoat, but I'd wear it. It's terrible how many museum heists I want to plan these days.
spatch captured this picture of me with a very sincere kitten.

Oh, wow!
I may have to link that waistcoat to my friend the seamstress.
And there's something about that angle that makes you ageless.

That is a great waistcoat.

Is it embroidered or brocaded? What techniques were used?
I'm only just discovering how brocading works - Essentially, it looks like embroidery in many ways, but is don't during the weaving process.
