My main impression of NL was Dr. Auschlander too. We watched "St Elsewhere" on TV when it first aired. I'm sure it was made in LA, but it was set in Boston. The opening credits changed year by year, but it always ended with the shot of the elevated Orange Line rumbling past even though the show went through 1988 and the el was removed in 1987.
