Well, the weeping cherry decided to bloom. I even managed to get to it before it all fell onto the sidewalk like a cartoon.



There's just a lot of blossom going on there.



I don't the regular cherry has a bad angle on it.

I am not entirely sure what the interweave of Psycho (1960) is doing on the soundtrack, but otherwise I am a simple person of simple tastes who enjoys a well-made vid for the 1938 Pygmalion: "No Scrubs."

Our own flowering cherry has pretty much set now so nearly all the blossom has gone, although living where we do, it always reminds me of 'loveliest of trees'.

I don't know how much of my reaction to the vid is bound into how I've been earworming* on the TLC original of "No Scrubs" for a week and going OMG LOVE THAT COVER, but that's a dang good choice of song for the content.


* With occasional breaks for "(Don't Fear) the Reaper".
