Tapeheads is a comedy in which John Cusak and Tim Robbins are buddies who run a not-very-successful videography business, and eventually get caught up in Wacky Hi-Jinks(TM) when they accidentally come into possession of a tape containing a sex video of a well-known senator. The best parts are the videos our heroes shoot over the course of the movie, whether it’s the tv spot for Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles (which I later found out is a real restaurant), the music video they make when sleazy record-producer Mo Fuzz tells them their work needs “more tits and asses”, or their accidentally-dramatic heavy-metal video.
