Have you ever seen a movie called The Greenstone? It’s an ‘80s fantasy, narrated by Orson Welles, that should have been titled The Abruptly-Ending Story -- it feels like it was meant to be at least twice as long, or possibly the pilot for a tv series, and it just stops after about forty minutes with basically nothing resolved. Which is annoying if you’re a kid who picked it out at the local video store expecting a feature film.
