My poem "He Should Marry the Daughter of the Angel of Death" is now online at Strange Horizons.

It is the first poem I've had published there since 2010. I was invited to contribute to the magazine's twentieth anniversary special issue and I am honored to be part of a table of contents including new poetry by R.B. Lemberg and Julia Rios and enduring fiction by Shweta Narayan, K. Tempest Bradford, Margaret Ronald, and Troy L. Wiggins.

The title is my favorite Yiddish curse: חתונה האָבן זאָל ער מיט די מלאך המוות טאָכטער, khasene hobn zol er mit di malekh-hamoves tokhter. I learned it ten years ago and it took an engagement in a year of plague to shake loose what to do with it. The poem is dedicated to rushthatspeaks. I am very glad of its publication.
