I'm going to ahve to dig around and find the various English performances of some of these songs (Marc Almond and Scott Walker have both done "Jacky," and David Bowie and others have done "Amsterdam" -- there's a version by the doors as well, I believe.

I do rather enjoy Brel's works...I have La Boite A Bon-Bons here, which is basically everything he did, plus additional material. It's fun to pull it out from time to time and give it a spin, despite a lousy command of French...!
