Too often they don’t get the attention they deserve.

I watch way fewer short films than I do features, I'm not sure why. There may still be a certain amount of mental investment in watching rather than reading something, in which case it's inevitably going to be higher for a bunch of shorts than for one feature. I just keep being reminded that I actually do like them. I'll see what I can do.
