A Spock who is repressed is less interesting (to me anyway) than a Spock who has transcended his emotions.

The idea that Vulcan logic works is more interesting to me than the idea that it's all just a destructive front. So it's not the human way of doing things: the people who practice it are (mostly) not human. Isn't that the point of science fiction?
