Adult voices should not be coming out of children's bodies unless it's a respectable demonic possession.

I enjoyed so much of the rest of it that I forcibly tuned out the vocal lines of the musical numbers. I suspect it helped that none of them were the greatest things Paul Williams ever penned.

(I share your initial shock, however: spatch had failed to warn me that (a) there were musical numbers (b) all dubbed by Williams and other adults. I'm not sure even the '70's can be held blameless for that.)
