(Hey, some of my best friends are misanthropes . . .) Alas, for that I like their paintings. But their museum has the best security people ever: when I cut my finger on the faucet in the women's room—don't ask—and the women at the gift shop pointed me back toward the security office, the man behind the desk not only spent five minutes rummaging for a band-aid in the back room, he opened it for me and offered to hunt up some more if I thought I would need them. That was an entirely unexpected level of chivalry. Plus my finger then didn't bleed all over the place.
