I met your baby at the exposition and frankly I found it a little unnerving

All right! My life has turned into a ball of travel. And music. The significant points:

Tomorrow morning I catch a train at hell o'clock. I am headed to D.C. for the weekend; selkie is doing something ritually important. I will catch a slightly less hell o'clock train back on Sunday.

On Thursday, A Besere Velt will be performing with Anthony Russell for Diasporas & Dreams: Singing for a Better World. If you are at all local, you should come hear us! It's our last concert of the season and it is full of relevant music.

The Sunday after that, I catch another hell o'clock train to New York City. I will be attending the Lambda Literary Awards. I don't expect to win, but I should write a speech in case of irony. I return on Tuesday.

In between are rehearsals, doctor's appointments, family commitments, and somehow trying to sleep. And working. Today so far contains three of the above. Sleep was, alas, not one.
