Fittingly, I first learned about Oyneg Shabes during a conference at the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, which is one of the major factors that led to me looking for Yiddish classes in Boston, which led to me joining A Besere Velt. (It would be a little more full circle if I had actually been able to be part of the concert/see the film, but I will take it anyway.)
