Have you read Kristin Cashore's Jane, Unlimited? Something about this post made me think you might enjoy it.
I have not! I enjoyed all three of Cashore's Graceling novels, though.
Or maybe I'm just thinking of umbrellas (which are a theme in the book) today.
I mean, I can understand that. *looks outside*
