The weirdest version of a movie I ever saw on TV was the edited-for-TV version of Diary of a Mad Housewife. So much of the film (sex scenes) had to be hacked out, they actually included scenes that had been filmed but edited out of the movie. The result was sort of a mess (unlike the actual film, which is one of my favorites).
