I haven't seen the movie Naked City, but I remember as a child being in the room with the TV series that I presume was based upon it, which is to say I sort of remember the theme and the catch-phrase "There are a million stories in the Naked City." This came up in conversation the other day, when we were talking about the population of various cities, and Arthur recognized the phrase when I said it. Lots more than one million stories in NYC now.
