Ah yes, there have been so many times I've wanted to remind various organizations that The Trial and The Castle were not intended to be how-to manuals.

On a friend's facebook post, there was a small digression about "wholesome Kafka", and now I am wishing I remembered more Kafka stories in enough detail to come up with an insurance related one. Instead, I will give you the two comments:

"a trial where despite your protest and lack of evidence all your friends tell you you're valued and use the fact that they held a trial to tell you you're valued as evidence." (MT, whom I do not know)

"A version of The Castle where you have to go through all these endless hoops to live in a town and join its community only to find out that they set up those hoops to stall for time while they found you a great house/flat to live in and put together an awesome house-warming party to welcome you."
