There were several hundred (?) people in the park *next* to the town hall (on the library side), out of sight, in the dark. The organizers gave safety issues at the reason, as the town hall was open late and there was a special event, so it would have been unfriendly to block the entrance. A couple of guys stood by the street, reciting slogans and waving signs. I think there were other people planning to march up and down the sidewalk after the preaching to the choir was over, but I left at 5:25.
