Even if we hadn't been talking about The Dybbuk I think I would have left thinking about it, with the way Chava herself features as a sort of unwilling ghost, officially gone and refusing to be gone. (I mean I guess this is true in most productions, but something about the staging called it to me particularly here.) There's an idea in there that I'm poking at, but we'll see if it comes to anything.
