and Lost Boys, one of the funniest movies ever in my book

I wasn't expecting it! When people talked about its influence, they mostly talked about changing archetypes of the vampire and fanfic! No one mentioned the fourteen-year-old survivalist vampire hunters who hang out at the comic store and are nowhere near as badass as they believe, although since they style themselves at the level of post-apocalyptic Van Helsing, they're still ahead of most people!

I was not expecting Kiefer Sutherland to look more like his father in this movie than in any other role in which I've seen him, either, but I dealt with it.
